The educational services' section develops guided tours’ programs and laboratory’s activities about numerous themes related to the history of science intended for the schools and a familial public.  The guided tours “with experiences” are intended to allow the participants to manipulate reproductions of some of the objects exposed in the museum. The didactic activities aim to introduce scientific content using practical and entertaining methods.
Some tasks concerning public reception and museum’s surveillance are covered by the volunteers of the cultural non-benefit association “Conoscere Firenze” (Knowing Florence).
