The Curious Objects of Museo Galileo

Instruments with funny names and shapes: "Frog" thermometer, noon cannon, dagger-shaped compass. What are they and how are they used?

Museo Galileo proposes this thematic visit (in Italian), which focuses on the most particular items of its collection. Thanks to the expertise of an operator, visitors will be guided through the museum’s halls and will discover unknown aspects of the scientific instruments.

These visits will be held in Italian on Saturdays and Sundays at 4.00 pm, starting April 20, 2013.

The activity will last about 60 minutes.
