The XXIX Symposium of the Scientific Instrument Commission of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science (Division History of Science and Technology) will be held in Florence, October 4-9, 2010. The Symposium is organized in collaboration with the Museo Galileo and the Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica.

The primary theme for the conference  is "Instruments on display".
English is the official language of the Symposium.
