From April 4th to 6th Florence will host the first edition of the Children's Festival, three days of free events for children aged 0 to 13 years.
The Museo Galileo supports and contributes to this initiative with two special activities (in Italian) which will be held at the Tribune of Galileo of La Specola Museum, in Via Romana 17.
"Once upon a time… science. Galileo through puppets tale
A Galileo-puppet will tell visitors about his life and the sensational discoveries he made thanks to the telescope and other instruments. Participants will learn how to make beautiful puppets with recycled materials.

The event (in Italian) will last about an hour and is reserved for children aged 4 to 6 years.

Let us meet Galileo Galilei
An actor dressed in epoch costume will tell visitors about the life and discoveries made by the Tuscan scientist thanks to the telescope and other instruments.

The event (in Italian) will last about an hour and is reserved for adults and children aged 7 to 13 years.
