The newly created Welcome museum network has built a permanent culture of collaboration among seven Florentine museums of different types.
The network is led by the Museo Fiorentino di Preistoria, that is part of it together with: Museo Galileo, Il Giardino di Archimede, Museo della Casa Buonarroti, Sistema Museale di Ateneo of the University of Florence, Museo Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica, and Museo Horne.
The network’s purpose is to raise awareness about the museum collections among different types of publics through actions aimed at identifying museums as welcoming places of participation, dialogue and wellbeing.
The new website will feature the various activities proposed by the network.
