The exhibition Pompeii: The Immortal City, conceived by Museo Galileo and curated by Giovanni di Pasquale with the collaboration of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, opened on October 22 at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.

Pompeii: The Immortal City reveals the extraordinary level of naturalistic, scientific and technical knowledge achieved in Pompeii and the Roman world on the eve of Mount Vesuvius eruption of 79 AD. On display are over one hundred archaeological findings as well as working models of machines and 3D reconstructions, which take visitors on a fascinating journey through space and time.
