The Biblioteca anatomica is a collaboration between Museo Galileo and the Institute of Italian Studies of the Università della Svizzera Italiana as part of the project La “civiltà dell’anatomia”: il genere delle Anatomie letterarie nell’Italia del Seicento, that is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
The Biblioteca anatomica makes available to scholars a series of works from the Italian area which are representative of the 'Literary Anatomies', a textual corpus here codified for the first time as a genre within the Italian tradition.
By the end of 2023, a search and navigation system ad hoc is to be released.
