This virtual exhibition (only in Italian) highlights the contribution of Italian scientists to the Unification of Italy. Scientists of Italy, Unite! makes available a significant selection of the extraordinary documentary and iconographic collection related to the Conferences of Italian scientists from 1839 to 1875, which is housed in the museum library. It consists of 36 folders containing several thousands of manuscript sheets. The material of greatest value is the completely unedited corpus documenting the conference held in Venice in 1847, which was interrupted by Austrian police.
