The World at Home: The First Forty Years of the Radio

The World at Home is intended to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi’s death (1937). The exhibition showcases over 350 radio apparatus from Fausto Casi’s collection and illustrates the early years of radio technology from 1895 until the 1930s. The collection ranges from rudimentary 19th-century wireless telegraph circuits to valve radio sets.
The instruments on display are now part of the permanent exhibition of the Museo dei Mezzi di Comunicazione which opened in Arezzo in 2005.
