Scientific Instruments at Museo Galileo

This remote-learning session will introduce students to the sundial, navigational instruments, early astronomical tools like the nocturnal, armillary sphere and conclude with the arrival of the Age of Enlightenment’s interest in static electricity machines. This lesson is a great way to introduce your students to Museo Galileo’s collections which you can later view in full by doing a virtual tour of our museum accompanied by our comic book guide found here. A short question and answer period is provided at the conclusion of our time together.
