Mara Miniati, the Reader
Riccardo Pratesi, Galileo
Antonello La Vergata, Cervantes
On the occasion of the ANMS members conference, that will take place in Florence on April 6, Museo Galileo is pleased to re-present – in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in Florence - the “Dialogue between Galileo Galilei and Miguel de Cervantes”, which had already been successfully performed on February 19 for Galileo's birthday.
The event, which will take place in Italian, is the outcome of the imagination, but also of the expertise of three enthusiasts who, having got to know about the presence of a copy of Don Quixote in the private library of Galileo, have decided to put him in direct confrontation with Cervantes.
During the show, contributions will be collected for the Museo delle Scienze di Camerino, seriously damaged and closed after the earthquake of October 30, 2016. This micro-project aims at raising money for a van to be used to reach local schools.
Participation is free of charge. Limited seats, reservations required.
