As part of this year's “Amico Museo” initiative, which is sponsored by the Regione Toscana and aims to enhance Tuscan museums' collections, Museo Galileo presents “Galileo tra scienza e buona tavola” (Galileo between Science and Good Food): visitors will be guided (in Italian) by an actor dressed as Galileo and other operators in epoch costumes, during a visit that will focus particularly on Galileo's instruments on display.
The Tuscan scientist will tell about his discoveries, his life and his passion for good eating and drinking, as witnessed by his works, letters and documents.
The cost of this 90-minute activity is included in the museum entrance fee.
