Electric Salon. Science, music and ... chocolate

Sunday 13 March, 2016 at 3.30 p.m.

As part of the project "Il Salotto di Galileo", conceived with the collaboration of the Associazione Legamidarte, on Sunday, March 13 Museo Galileo’s library will become an 18th-century salon with scientific shows, musical entertainment and chocolate tastings.

During the evening, characters in magnificent epoch costumes will enliven the museum’s halls and visitors will be able to listen to a short talk (in Italian) about chocolate in the 18th century.

The music programme, which is conceived by the Associazione Legamidarte under the artistic direction of Marco Papeschi, will include arias from "The Marriage of Figaro" in the transcription of Mauro Giuliani performed by Carlo Mascilli (guitar) and Marco Papeschi (violin).

We would like to thank Oro Nero for the chocolate tastings and the Bottega Filistrucchi for the wigs.

Cost: the museum's entrance fee. Limited seats, reservations required.
