The Mind of Leonardo opens in Pécs, Hungary, where it is housed in two of the main city museums – the Gallery of Modern Hungarian Art and the Martyn Ferenc Museum. A new section devoted to Leonardo’s Visions is the exclusive privilege of the Pécs exhibition and features three of Da Vinci’s most ambitious projects, namely the flying machine, the self-propelling wagon and the equestrian monument dedicated to Francesco Sforza. A spectacular recreation of Leonardo’s 26 foot tall model is to be admired in Széchenyi square.
