In June 2012 the Museo Galileo library received as a donation the first part of the personal library of Paolo Rossi Monti (1923-2012), one of the most distinguished historians of science and philosophy of the postwar period.
This part is made up of approximately 7,000 books and archival materials - mainly press proofs and manuscript notebooks. The remaining part will consist of about 4,000 volumes - among which are the ancient books - and the correspondence archive.
