The 12-volume work: “Panorama general de historia de la ciencia” by Aldo Mieli (Buenos Aires, 1954-1961) has recently been completed (till now only the volumes 8, 9 and 12 were owned by the library).
The missing volumes have been acquired in the antiquarian market and are now available in the reference room, in the section dedicated to the history of science general works (Cons. St. Scienza A 60). Some of the recently acquired volumes are of particular interest, such as vol. 4 on Leonardo da Vinci and vol. 5 on Renaissance science. The volume on Leonardo is also available in digital version.
