From March 25, 2018 through January 6, 2019 Sansepolcro City Museum in is home to the exhibition Piero della Francesca. La seduzione della prospettiva, organized by the Municipality of Sansepolcro and Museo Galileo in collaboration with Fondazione Palazzo Magnani and Civita–Opera Laboratori Fiorentini. The mainstay of the exhibition is the codex of Piero’s De prospectiva pingendi, a treatise of primary importance to the development of modern perspective. On display are replicas of drawing instruments, codex facsimiles, 3D models of Piero’s drawings, and explanatory videos.
