The Museo Galileo and the Sistema Museale di Ateneo present a theatrical action featuring Galileo and his housekeeper that will take place in the Villa Galileo, where the Tuscan scientist lived in the last decade of his life.
An opportunity to look into a “domestic Galileo” with a magnifying glass to discover his everyday life and passions, such as food and good wine. While preparing for dinner, the two characters discuss astronomical issues as well.
Will Galileo succeed in making Piera understand the Copernican system through a series of jokes?
The show will be held in Italian and will be followed by a guided visit to the Villa.
Starting at 5 pm. Duration: 2 hours.
Costs: Villa Galileo's entrance fee (€6,00 full fee / € 3,00 reduced fee) + performance and guided visit (€ 3,00).
