To celebrate Galileo’s 455th birthday, the Museo Galileo offers a theatrical reading of the Sidereus Nuncius in epoch costumes.
The aim of the event is to introduce the figure of the Tuscan scientist as a discoverer of new worlds, just like Cristoforo Colombo and Amerigo Vespucci: equipped with a logbook - the Sidereus Nuncius - and of his own vessel - the telescope - Galileo opens to a different vision of the world, perceived by the viewer as a new land that gradually shows its wonders.
