In June 2021 the Museo Galileo's library acquired the personal papers of Alcide Garosi, physician and medicine historian.
The papers include more than a thousand letters to Garosi sent by some of the most important 20th century physicians and medicine historians: Pietro Capparoni, Luigi Castaldi, Carlo Castellani, Arturo Castiglioni, Andrea Corsini (first director of the Institute and Museum of the history of science, today the Museo Galileo), Nicola Latronico, Adalberto Pazzini, Loris Premuda and others.
