The exhibition Pompeii. The Immortal City, curated by Giovanni Di Pasquale (Museo Galileo) in collaboration with the Naples National Archaeological Museum and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, is hosted at the Musée de la Civilisation in Quebec City (Canada), where it will be open to the public from November 18, 2021 until September 11, 2022.
Multimedia insights, reconstructions and over one hundred archaeological findings from the cities buried by Vesuvius’ eruption in 79 AD and preserved in the deposits of the Naples National Archaeological Museum will allow visitors to experience the extraordinary level of naturalistic, scientific and technical knowledge achieved in Pompeii and the Roman world during the I century AD.
With this exhibition Museo Galileo further consolidates its more than twenty years’ efforts in designing international exhibitions as a result of an in-depth research on fundamental topics for the understanding of the civilizations of the past.
