The Thek@ Favaro is an integrated archive on the life and work of Antonio Favaro, one of the key figures in the history of Italian science between the late 19th century and the early 20th century.

The Thek@ makes available online approx. 13,200 manuscript documents, over 1,000 printed works by Favaro (including monographs, journal articles and reviews) and a hundred secondary literature studies dedicated to him. The Chronology section retraces - year by year - the main stages of the scholar's life, while the Biographies section presents the main figures linked to Favaro for reasons of work, study and research.

Thanks to the collaboration with Giunti Editore, the Manuscripts section, which includes letters and other documents housed at the Domus Galilaeana and at the Istituto veneto di scienze, lettere ed arti, has now been enriched with new important materials belonging to the G. Barbèra editore collection, currently preserved in the historical archive of Giunti Editore. In addition to the approximately 400 letters sent by Antonio Favaro to Barbèra Editore or directly to its owner Piero Barbèra, mostly relating to the publication of the national edition of the Works of Galileo Galilei, there are also several documents and letters sent to the publishing house by companies, scholars and collaborators of the national edition.
