Galileo in Florence. A journey among the stars
Launch of the book for kids, written by Valeria Amendola and illustrated by Francesca Fortino.
This guidebook will allow readers to stroll down the streets and alleys of Florence and to discover the best Galilean sites, included our museum, along with some of the mysteries of our universe. Is it the Sun that revolves around the Earth or vice versa? How many moons does Jupiter have? Is it true that the telescope revolutionized the world?
The guidebook - whose contents have benefited from the scientific advice of Museo Galileo - is published by Wow Kids, a project that is specifically aimed at children, taking them to unusual places and recounting secret stories known by only a few.
