Elena Canadelli, Historian of Science, Associate professor of History of Science at the University of Padova, Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World, President of the Italian Society for the History of Science (SISS) and Editor-in-chief of the international journal Nuncius. Journal of the Material and Visual History of Science has been appointed as a member of the Museo Galileo’s Scientific Committee.
The first woman to join the Committee, her appointment complements the board composed of Ferdinando Abbri - University of Siena, Marco Beretta - University of Bologna, Massimo Bucciantini - University of Siena, Michele Camerota - University of Cagliari, Marco Ciardi - University of Florence and Pietro Corsi - University of Oxford and EHESS, Paris.
