On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the publication of Galileo Galilei's Saggiatore (The Assayer), the documentary “Galileo R(e)volution. Il cammino della scienza” (Galileo R(e)volution. The Path of Science), produced by Berta Film, will be presented on Sunday, November 5, at 11 a.m., at Cinema La Compagnia as part of the Festival dei Popoli.
The film, which is directed by Carlo Borean, tells the story of the evolution of scientific thought and investigates the relationship between science, art and democracy, starting with the figure of the father of modern science. Who was the scientist Galileo and who are his heirs today? In a short circuit between past and present, the life of the genius and his thought are reflected in the achievements of some young contemporary researchers and scientists.

Thanks to an agreement between the two institutions, Museo Galileo ticket holders will be entitled to reduced admission to all Festival dei Popoli documentaries. In addition, presenting the Festival ticket will provide access to Museo Galileo at the special price of € 8.00 instead of € 13.00.
