This educational activity is designed for high school students aged 14 to 18 and aims to explore the extraordinary achievements of three eminent figures in the history of science: Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, and Francis Bacon. Through the study of their discoveries, inventions, and contributions, the activity aims to promote meaningful discussions that encompass a wide range of values related to the concepts of 'exploration', 'discovery', and dialogue with 'others'. These values include progress, experimentation, science for the betterment of society, the pursuit of knowledge, and the importance of verifying information against authority. Through such conversations, students will be encouraged to reflect on the current challenges of their society, including the impacts of technology on our world, and to consider the ethical implications of scientific progress.

The main objective of the activity is to provide a rich and articulate learning experience that connects participants to the past to gain a deeper understanding of the present and cultivate the wisdom needed to build a better future. By adopting an interdisciplinary approach, students will be encouraged to recognize the interconnectedness between different fields of knowledge, promoting a holistic view of the world and our role within it.
