The Museo Galileo has collaborated on the exhibition organized by the Physics and Astronomy Department of the University of Florence and the Florentine Section of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, together with the Archivio Storico del Comune, the Natural Science Library of the University of Florence and the Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica.

The exhibition focuses on the period from the birth of the Regia Università di Firenze (1924) and to the promulgation of racial laws in Italy by Benito Mussolini’s government (1938). The items on display come from the Archivio Storica del Comune, the Archivio Garbasso, the Fondo della Corte, the Physics and Astronomy Department of the University of Florence, from the Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica and from private collections. The Catalogue is released as the third volume of the series associated to the journal Il Colle di Galileo

The inauguration will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 17:00 at the Exhibition Halls of the Archivio Storico del Comune, Via Oriuolo 35.

Mondays and Fridays: 9:30am to 12:30pm
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9:30am to 12:30pm; 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Free admission. Closed in August
