Museo Galileo is pleased to announce the launch of the educational publication Pietro Leopoldo di Lorena. A "grand" Grand Duke, edited by the Museum’s Educational Department and illustrated by Elena Triolo.
A small booklet for students made by Museo Galileo, in collaboration with the Archivio Storico del Comune di Firenze, about character, ideas, activities, interests and achievements of the Grand Duke as a young reformer, to whom we owe one of the wisest reform plans of the 18th-century Europe.
Among the speakers, Caterina Biti, President of the City Council, Andrea Gori and Paola Scortecci of the Museum’s Educational Department, and Giulio Manetti of the Archivio Storico del Comune di Firenze.
