Thanks to the collaboration with the Botanical Sections of the Natural History Museum and of the Sciences Library of the University of Florence, two important photo collections were added to the digital library devoted to Giorgio Roster (1843-1927). The first one is preserved in the Natural History Museum and consists of 538 negative images on a glass plate, that were taken by Giorgio Roster in the years 1899-1921. The second collection, from the Sciences Library, is comprised of 25 photographs, taken by Roster in the period between 1904 and 1916, and 71 pictures by his friend Giuseppe Garbari (1892-1931) to document the Cycads, a plant family of which Roster was a renowned collector.
