Galileo e la Piera. Dialogo astronomico in cucina [Galileo and Piera: An astronomical dialogue in the kitchen]
A new theatrical action featuring Galileo and his housekeeper. The show is followed by a "Galilaean happy hour" prepared after the scientist's works and the letters of his daughter, Sister Maria Celeste.

Guided Visits to the Museo Galileo
11.00. "The Galileo affair" a thematic visit. Thanks to the telescope, Galileo's discoveries changed the idea of the universe and expanded the debate on the relation between science and religion.
15.30. Guided visit in epoch costume. Galileo himself will take visitors through the extraordinary collection of the Medici Family, while a lady in a magnificent 18th-century costume will illustrate the Lorraine collection.

Guided visit to Villa Galileo
Via Pian de' Giullari, 42 – Florence
Special opening of the villa in Arcetri where Galileo Galilei spent his last years. The villa bears witness to Galileo's studies and scientific discoveries, but also to his everyday life.
